Prior to my joining Kubit, I spent a very exciting 5 years at Snowflake. It was an incredible experience, learning new technologies and engaging with customers and partners. When I first joined Snowflake, the summits were much smaller in scale. This year, they had over 20,000 attendees. It’s become quite the event. At that time, they had just launched their partner network, and they had just a few hundred partners. In 2025, that number is in the tens of thousands.
This was my first year at Snowflake Summit, albeit as a Partner, and it did not disappoint! One of the more exciting announcements was Snowflake Cortex AI SQL. An AI-powered natural language querying tool that translates plain words into SQL queries. Imagine not having to spend all that time researching the right functions or commands to use. You can write complex SQL in no time at all.
That same spirit of innovation is what drew me to Kubit. At Kubit, we help teams build detailed, event-based reports directly from their data warehouse, no SQL required. The common theme throughout the Summit, as well as our interactions with attendees, was unburdening engineers from repetitive tasks and making data easier to work with for our non-engineers. Your data shouldn’t be completely locked away, with only a seasoned SQL expert being able to produce a report.
