About the Solutions Engineering Team

Kubit’s Solutions Engineering team works closely with our enterprise clients to drive significant business outcomes. We dive deep into the analytics requirements of prospects and existing clients, identifying key value drivers. As the technical link to our Sales department, we play a crucial role in realizing business value.

Working alongside the Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support teams, we aim to integrate self-serve analytics seamlessly into client ecosystems. We demonstrate the art of the possible with prospects and customers, showcasing best practices throughout sales cycles.

About the Role:

As a Solutions Engineer at Kubit, you will play a crucial role in showcasing the value of Kubit’s capabilities to a diverse range of prospects. In our expanding sales team, you will partner with Account Executives, serving as trusted advisors to customers by aligning Kubit’s solutions with their business objectives. Your passion for technology, combined with your strong sales acumen, will be essential in effectively communicating the technical and business advantages of Kubit to various personas and organizational levels within our customers’ companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Consultation: Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and develop customized technical solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Solution Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts to showcase the capabilities of our solutions, emphasizing the benefits to the client’s business in terms of product and marketing insights.
  • Value Proposition: Articulate the value proposition of our solutions, highlighting competitive advantages and return on investment, particularly in the context of product optimization and marketing effectiveness.
  • Client Engagement: Engage with clients throughout the sales cycle, from initial discovery meetings to technical deep dives and solution presentations, addressing their specific product and marketing analytics needs.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering guidance on technical best practices, solution architecture, and implementation strategies related to product and marketing analytics.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to ensure alignment between client needs and product capabilities, particularly in the realm of analytics.
  • Sales Support: Provide pre-sales assistance in responding to technical inquiries, addressing objections, and assisting with solution implementation, focusing on delivering value.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience as a Solutions Engineer or in a similar technical sales support role with 5 or more years of experience.
  • Proficiency in data querying, modeling, and transformation in at least one tool, such as SQL, dbt, Python, and Business Intelligence platforms.
  • Experience with Cloud Data Warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
  • Experience with Product Analytics tools a plus.
  • Proven ability to bridge the technical-business gap with your prospect — working with high-level business stakeholders to define success for proof of concepts and successfully execute and achieve those outcomes.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer-centric mindset with a passion for understanding and addressing client needs, particularly in the realms of product and marketing analytics.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams, engineers, marketers, and other stakeholders to achieve sales objectives and deliver value-added solutions.
