About the Position:
We’re looking to add a UI|UX designer to join our growing Product team. As a UI/UX Designer at Kubit, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our SaaS product. You’ll work directly with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, engineers, and data analysts, to ensure that design decisions are aligned with both user needs and business goals.
As part of a highly collaborative environment, you’ll be expected to contribute innovative ideas, actively participate in discussions, and foster teamwork to drive the product forward. Your designs will impact the overall usability and success of our product offerings, and you will be integral in creating user interfaces that make complex data easy to understand and act upon.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborative Design Process: Work closely with the product and engineering teams to design and deliver high-quality user experiences.
- Workflow and Ease of Use: Focus on creating seamless workflows and intuitive user interfaces that optimize ease of use, reducing friction and improving user engagement.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Bring a self-starter attitude and the ability to proactively identify design opportunities. You’ll need to think like an entrepreneur, advocating for the best user experiences while balancing product and business needs.
- Prototype and Test: Develop wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and user flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Stay Current on UX/UI Trends: Keep up with and above the latest industry trends and competitor products, ensuring we remain innovative and ahead of the curve.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions, especially for analytics platforms or tools.
- Strong communication skills for articulating design concepts to cross-functional teams.
- Highly motivated, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Zeplin, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of responsive and user-centered design principles.
- Using prototyping tools including Figma, Protopie, Flinto or Framer to demonstrate how a particular flow or interaction works.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while solving problems creatively and efficiently.
- Passion for creating intuitive workflows and discovering new design solutions.
- Identifying product opportunities in a global market, and making strategic design decisions based on impact to the company.
