Job Overview

As a QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our product analytics app. You will be responsible for manual testing, writing and managing test cases, and collaborating closely with development and product teams. While you will primarily focus on manual testing, you will also have the opportunity to work with automated tests. This position is fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough regression testing as part of the weekly release cycle, ensuring new code doesn’t impact existing functionality. 
  • Develop, maintain, and review test cases at different levels (smoke, regression and feature tests) for our main web application (ReactJS based). 
  • Find and report bugs or suggestions in Jira. Working closely with developers and fellow QA to reproduce, troubleshoot and verify the issues. 
  • Work closely with fellow QA, developers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues. 
  • Help maintain, run, and improve automated tests (if applicable) to enhance testing coverage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree 
  • 3+ years of experience in QA testing on web products, preferably in a product analytics or data-driven environment. 
  • Strong background in manual testing, including test case writing, execution, and defect tracking. 
  • 1+ years of SQL experiences, especially in data warehouse like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift or Vertica.
  • Ability to spot inconsistencies, edge cases, and defects in product behavior and data. 
  • Clear and concise communication of issues, updates, and testing both verbally and written.
